Krishnamurti’s Observer is the Observed

Krishnamurti, described by some as the ‘Christ of our times’, spent 70 years travelling the world and delivering a consistent message that was mind numbing to most. It took me decades (I’m a slow learning, and I exaggerate) to begin to get the concept of the ‘observer is the observed’. Our minds revolt against simplicity however, so this remained incomprehensible for the longest time, and I struggle now to comprehend it. A mind addicted since infancy to complexity cannot grasp simplicity. As we look out, we must equally look within to understand how our mind works.
