ACIM – Beyond Perception

T-3.V.1. I have said that the abilities you possess are only shadows of your real strength, and that perception, which is inherently judgmental, was introduced only after the separation. 2 No one has been sure of anything since. 3 I have also made it clear that the resurrection was the means for the return to knowledge, which was accomplished by the union of my will with the Father’s. 4 We can now establish a distinction that will clarify some of our subsequent statements. T-3.V.2. Since the separation, the words “create” and “make” have become confused. 2 When you make something, you do so out of a specific sense of lack or need. 3 Anything made for a specific purpose has no true generalizability. 4 When you make something to fill a perceived lack, you are tacitly implying that you believe in separation. 5 The ego has invented many ingenious thought systems for this purpose. 6 None of them is creative. 7 Inventiveness is wasted effort even in its most ingenious form. 8 The highly specific nature of invention is not worthy of the abstract creativity of God’s creations.  ACIM_perception – click here to open a PDF of the image above

ACIM Chapter 9 The HS Plan of Forgiveness

Perhaps the most difficult thing to comprehend (we cannot understand it) in ACIM is the fact that it is completely 100% uncompromising. This applies to ‘forgiveness’, which is either practiced completely and without reservation or not at all. This is virtually impossible for the ego to accept, as it’s survival is based on being the sole doorway to ‘forgiveness’… in which it interprets as seeing the sinful act and judging the relative ‘sin’ of it then choosing to ‘forgive’ the evil doer. As the course points out however, acknowledging the reality of any ‘sin’ makes it real in our minds, at which point we proceed to ‘forgive’ or give charity to the one who we have just branded as unforgivable. Look, let’s admit it to ourselves, it just doesn’t work that way here or anywhere else. The course looks on ‘forgiveness’ in this way: “Forgiveness through the Holy Spirit lies simply in looking beyond error from the beginning, and thus keeping it unreal for you. Do not let any belief in it’s realness enter your mind, or you will also believe that you must undo what you have made in order to be forgiven. What has not effect does note exist, and to the Holy Spirit the effects of error are nonexistent. By steadily and consistently cancelling out all its effects, everywhere and in all respects, He teaches that the ego does not exist and proves it.” This is again another form of one of the repeated foundations of the […]

For it has power only if the Son of God gives power to it. He must himself withdraw that power, remembering that all power is of God. You can remember this for all the Sonship. Do not allow your brother not to remember, for his forgetfulness is yours. But your remembering is his, for God cannot be remembered alone. This is what you have forgotten. To perceive the healing of your brother as the healing of yourself is thus the way to remember God. Wireless: The Dark Side of Convenience The ancient Romans became sickened by lead pipes bringing them drinking water. Today the story repeats with wireless. Something new is in the air. You can’t see it, hear it, smell it or feel it, but the cells in your body can. It’s called ‘wireless’. Wireless fills the air around us with microwave radiation used to communicate with devices like cell phones, tablet computers, and smart (utility) meters. The wireless age is revolutionizing the way we communicate, shop, and even live our lives – with devices like smartphones tapping into our ancient human need to communicate and belong. We’ve thrown open our hearts and minds (and brain-blood barrier, by the way) in our unquestioning embrace of this technology pushed onto us by government and industry… but has anyone stopped to ask: is this safe? How does this stuff really work? Or are we so desperately addicted already to our mobile devices that we no longer care to ask? Pardon me for mentioning it, but there is something industry would rather we not know: people are getting sick from wireless; there is a trail of ignored studies going back decades showing horrific dangers; our industry derived safety ‘guideline’ is obsolete and largely deceptive; and there is no proof whatsoever that this technology is safe – absolutely none. Tower Roulette: The Wireless Gamble With Your Health

  By Ron Gordon May 2016 In June of 2015 *Renee Adams of Maple Ridge B.C. was awakened by the sound of heavy trucks and workers affixing ‘microcell’ broadcast antennas to a telephone pole 100 feet from her front door. Surprised by the lack of warning and concerned about possible health effects, the single mother of two autistic boys asked for an explanation, but was told by workers that it was ‘none of her business’ and ordered out of the construction zone.  Finding no government department at any level willing to listen to her concerns, she appealed to city council. Council, however, was unaware of the plan to deploy the antennas, confused about responsibilities, and uncertain of dangers. As the wireless industry rapidly unleashes new technologies onto a public naively unaware of potential consequences, should we be concerned? As with tobacco and asbestos, once promoted by health authorities as ‘safe’, is it not prudent for citizens to ask about the potential for harm? I set out to find answers, but quickly found that many ‘answers’ are available, depending on who you ask, that are as confusing as the technology itself. On one hand, wireless companies and government agencies provide seemingly convincing reassurances of safety. But on further examination, it becomes clear that no actual ‘proof’ of safety is offered, or available. Further questions on the topic raise eyebrows, sometimes resulting in hints of ‘anti-technology zealotry’ or ‘resistance to progress’.
